ADD-ON TRAINING COURSE: ECOFLO IN PA – COCO BIOFILTERS (Feb 4)
The PA Septage Management Association (PSMA) will be joining with the PA Association of Sewage Enforcement Officers (PASEO) to offer a joint conference & trade show on Feb 4-6, 2024, in Harrisburg, PA!
We have scheduled a variety of optional full-day and half-day training course options on Sunday (Feb 4), Monday (Feb 5), and Tuesday (Feb 6) for those attendees who want a more in-depth education on select topics. These Add-on training courses are at additional cost. Since you must be attending the conference to sign-up for these courses, they have been discounted 50% or more from their typical price. Ecoflo in PA: Coco Biofilters – Training Course (half day – 9:00am-12:15pm)

Attendees can optionally register for this training course for an additional fee. Ecoflo Biofilters are advanced treatment systems that have been approved for use in PA as alternate systems. The focus of this half day, 3- SEO credit course will be the new EC7 Coco filter models. The course will provide a technical overview of the coco filter system and its performance in reducing BOD5 and TSS. General system design standards for both plastic and concrete tanks will be presented along with absorption area sizing criteria. Construction and installation techniques will be reviewed along with permitting guidance, as well as system operation and maintenance requirements.
